Composition

  • 57 Barium nitrate
  • 14 Sulfur
  • 29 Aluminium (dark pyro)
  • +1-2% Boric acid


Description

CAUTION: Nitrate/aluminum compositons commonly create basic conditions evolving heat, which may lead to spontaneous combustion. 1% to 2% of boric acid should be added to counter the reaction.
